Recruitment Process The host organsiations will host volunteers who are above 18 years old. As the hosting placenemts are in excluded areas, it is quite natural that volunteers should be matured (as described above) in order to be able to cope with the difficulties of the disadvantaged areas which might have quite a very different realities of their culturally different origins. Therefore, we will consider hosting volunteers who are above 21-22 years old who might be more matured and understand deprived community life. It will be much effective for the volunteers’ learning process if they are matured. This project will include only 3 young people with fewer opportunities hosted by Tteni Cooperation in Goris as they are the most experienced (among the partner receiving organsiations) in hosting EVS volunteers and have competent staff to provide quality learning, safety and logistical support to the volunteers. Tteni Cooperation will arrange appropriate and extra mentorship (reinforced mentorship) for the volunteers in order to: -create continuous evaluations and conversations with the professional -give extra support to the volunteers regarding their needs (emotional and psychological) We will also give importance for the gender balance of the project to ensure that equal number of male and female volunteers will be selected. We will make this n official criteria during volunteers’ selection/recruitment process. We will try to involve 3 female and 3 male volunteers in the project. When we make the announcement and put call for the free EVS placements, we will take this criteria seriously to insure gender balance in the project.
