OPIS PROJEKTU:

CZAS PROJEKTU: 1/10/2013-01/07/2014

We establish that 2 volunteers will be cooperate in film production and activities with youth. In each issue, we are trying to underline its’ values and obligations. All sites are aware about responsibilities and laws.

The main tasks fo the volunteers will be:

• work with youth (age 11-17 and 18 -30)
• work with school civic clubs, volunteers’ support in organizing local actions, strengthening communication between youth comming from city of Rustavi
• organizing workshops for shool Euroclubs
• preparation of short films about local community life and its functioning
• conducting film and discussion sessions, preparation monthly photographic exhibitions showing the volunteers activities (photographic reportage)
• realization of own initiatives relating media, youth mobilization, promotion of tolerance and community, promotion of youth programs
• volunteers will make a photo/video documentation as part of EVS project (it will be connected with organization tasks but it will be their individual creation; volunteers will have time in a week for their photo/video project within organization actions, the time of this activity will be consulted in advance, this specific video or photo project will be shown the public after volunteers’ arrival)

Monday:
10-13 planning activities together with local volunteers
13-14 lunch time
14-15 attending SIQA’s staff meeting
15-17 working with shool’s civic clubs leaders – discussing club activities, sharing idead and experience
17-18 evaluation of the school’s civic clubs leaders’ meeting together with porgram coordinator

Tuesday:
10-11 Georgian/Russian language lesson
11-13 planning civic activities with other volunteers
13-14 lunch time
14-15 meeting with mentor – evaluation of the project’s duration
15-17 working with youth students – RYA club (Rustavi Youth in Action)
17-18 evaluation of RYA club meeting – together with club’s trainer and coordinator

Wednesday:
10-13 office, planning activities together with local volunteers
13- 14 lunch time
14-15 planning and preparing cultural workshop for students
15-17 cultural/art craft workshop for students (age 11-14)
17-18 evaluation of the cultural workshop

Thursday:
10-11 Georgian/Russian language lesson
11-13 planning civic activities with other volunteers
13-14 lunch time
14-15 meeting with mentor – evaluation of the project’s duration
15-17 working with shool’s civic clubs leaders – dissusing club activities, sharing ideas and experience
17-18 evaluation of the workshop

Friday:
10-13 office, planning activities together with local volunteers

17-18 evaluation of the cultural workshop

Food:
Volunteers will be receving money for food in amount 90 EURO per month calculated in GEL from host organization.

Accomodation:
The volunteers will be accomodated in an apartament with other EVS volunteers. Volunteers will have provided accommodation in flat with kitchen, wasing machine, Wi-Fi internet, fridge for its usage.

The practical arrangements (working hours, days off per week, holidays):

The volunteers will work form Monday to Friday, approximately 6 hours per day, from 10:00 – 17:00 with one hour for lunch.
Hours may vary from day to day based on project needs, and the volunteers can be asked to work additional days in weekend if needed. Additional hours and weekends days will be credited toward time off. The volunteers will be given time off for all Georgian holidays or any other days the HO office is closed. Volunteers will recive 2 days per month of vacation/personal time will be developed one the volunteers are settled in country, based on both volunteers and HO needs.

Language support:

The volunteers will be provided with Russian or Georgian language support at a minimum twice meeting a week paid for form the Hosting Activity Budget.
Youthpass certificate is very important for volunteers and the Host Organization will underline it once more when they will arrive. The HO will prepare a special calendar when the volunteers will have to do specific service. After an establish period – so after each 2 months the HO will have meetings and the HO will evaluate the project service. Step by step the HO will achieve the full list of competences and skills they gained and the HO will try to put them to their youthpass together.

Local transport:

The volunteers will be reimbursed for their expenses on local transport by the HO from the Hosting Activity budget.
